The Grape Escape Wins 3 Gold Medals

We submitted three wines to the Florida State fair at Tampa for judging in the Florida Grape Growers Association wine and juice competition. We submitted a Rosso Grande (nebbillo grape ), a Merlot from which we have designed our Honeysuckle Red and a Grape Escape Spring White which is a Reisling which we used to design the spring white. All three wine won gold medals in the amateur competition and our wines won the blue ribbon for the best of show for the reds with the Rosso Grande and for the whites with our Grape Escape spring white. The competition took place on Sunday the 7th of Feb. 1999 at Tampa and the judges were international rated Somalies.
